1. Which data do we collect and who do we share it with
This section explains which data is collected and how it is used. The section also details with whom the data is shared. This listed data is only shared with the listed persons and is therefore not shared with third parties.
-
- Basic user information: email address, full name, birthday, shoe size, and preferred side. This data is available for all members within the society / section. The user’s name and email address are also shared with the website owners when they contact the support or give feedback.
- Daily body statistics: weight, resting heart rate, mood indicator, hours of sleep, heart rate variability, injuries. This data is by default shared with the user’s coaches (crew coaches and head coaches). For each collected quantity, the coaches can configure whether it is shared with the whole crew, the coaches of the crew (incl. head coaches) or not available for any team member. Users have the option to choose make their bodystats private, to share them with only the coaches or with all crew members via their profile settings. If a user chooses to share their bodystats, restrictions placed by the coaches on the bodystats page still limit the visibility of the bodystats indicators. Anonymized daily body statistics can be used by Flux ICT for statistical analysis of the user base as well as to conduct research on injury prevention and performance development.
- Correspondence with support and feedback: this data is shared with the website owners and support team to answer the user’s questions. All correspondence and shared data will be saved for future references.
- Usage data: last login, used browser, platform, and IP-address. This data is used to show the active sessions (login keys) to the user. Users can use this information to invalidate other sessions to prevent other people from logging in with their account. The user’s last login is also used to determine the number of active users per society / section and to improve the website’s performance.
- Attendance and results of training sessions: all attendance data and session information (training time, date, scheduled workout, video comments) and training scores (ergometer and boat scores) are available for all members within the society / section. This allows fellow society / section members to see which training sessions users performed. The training results are also used to generate the society / section leader boards. For GPS and heart rate related data (training time, distance, GPS, heart rate data, T2min) the user can configure whether this data is private, or shared with the coaches or the coaches and the team members. By default, GPS and heart rate data is shared with the coaches and the users team members.
- Private workouts: users can create workouts independent of their society / section. The workout description and results are never directly accessible by anyone of any society / section you are a member of. Users can choose to make the accumulated GPS and heart rate data (training distance, training time, T2min, RPE, sport type) available to their coaches and team members through the analysis page. This option is configured in the users profile. By default, aforementioned quantities are shared with coaches and team members.
